Happy Father's Day! (a greeting a day delayed, but oh well, this is what happens when you get really sick then you find out you have mumps, thus, making you miss special events </3) Even though a day has already passed, I would still want to share with you my D.A.D - Daily Advice from Daddy *wink*

Every morning, before we go out whether for work or for school, we pray. No one gets to leave the house without uttering a word of prayer. I remember when we were little, my sisters and I used to all sit on my dad's lap. But now that we're all grown up, we just huddle haha...um someone still gets to sit on my dad's lap, just one at a time so we won't break Daddy's bones lol. We would pray about the day to come, our upcoming quizzes, our presentations, our trips, etc. Every after prayer, Daddy would say "Something good is going to happen today!" and we will all follow after. From a followed instruction, it became a habit. It was our daily dose of positivity.

Aaaand it didn't end there. Daddy then added some 'challenge' by making us memorize Bible verses:
(oh, and 'Something good' became 'Something great' :D)

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17 (NIV)

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us," - Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

Daddy never fails to inspire us. Everyday, his advice is to always believe and put our trust in God. Always. That whatever we pray for, whatever we want, or whatever we say, it will happen (in His perfect timing) as long as we believe. Our minds and our words are that powerful. Moreover, our God is very, very powerful.

Hope you get the D.A.D because it did me good, actually something great ;) It made my days great and my life better because I laid it all unto God. I hope my D.A.D. does the same for you. So that we can all celebrate every date!
