It's the first day of August (which means there are only 20 days left before my birthday!!!) YAY! And to start my birthday month, I want to share with you guys, the reason behind 'Blessings'. If you have ever received a business e-mail from me, I'm sure you have noticed that I always sign off with 'Blessings'. Here's why...

It has been my life-long goal to be a 'person of influence'. Not really your usual-100k-followers-on-Instagram-type of celebrity with fans clubs and paparazzis, but rather a person who is courageous and bold to touch the lives of other people and lead them to Jesus Christ - to be an inspiration and lead a whole bunch of people to Him. (Oh but if 100k followers will happen, why not? HAHAHA lol)
Kidding aside, I can still remember the time when I witnessed some of my highschool friends repent in prayer and receive salvation during one of our bible studies in school. I remember how much bucket of tears I've cried because of the joy I felt inside.

College happened, and now work. My world has grown bigger and bigger. As much as I want to share His word with the growing number of opportunities I have, my hesitations and the possible judgements grew numerously as well. So I asked myself, "How can I maximize sharing about my faith without blatantly bringing out my Bible to read out loud verses (which sometimes, slowly makes people  awkward; worst seeing them avoid you)? Apart from social media, what is it that I make use most of the time?" Then it hit me - with the type of work that I have, my business e-mail is what takes up most of my time. And instead of putting verses as footnotes or P.S.-ing them, I sign off my e-mails with 'Blessings'. It may seem weird for others, but for me, it is a way of reminding people of the blessings we receive everyday - Of an added day in our life, of the strength, provision, and protection, of God's love for us and His great plans in our lives.

I don't mind being called 'Blessings' in the office :)) It actually felt nice that my officemates noticed. I really hope it put a smile on their faces whenever they read my e-mails. And of course, to ALL who receive even just a single e-mail from me. Always remember that there is something to celebrate in our lives everyday!
